National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Awards Gulfstream Inaugural Sustainable Flight Department Accreditation
This program was launched in 2022 by NBAA to recognize “business aviation entities meeting exceptional environmental sustainability standards.”

Last month, Gulfstream was the industry’s first business aircraft original equipment manufacturer to fly on 100% SAF. In addition, Gulfstream facilities include more than 2.2 million square feet of green buildings both in the U.S. and the U.K. Thanks to Gulfstream’s increased focus on sustainable operations, the company has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 18% since 2014 while expanding facilities by 30%.

Luxury meets Luxury – this was the essence of the party organized by Idea Events, Private Luxury Group’ events division, on the 12th of December. In the glamorous decor of the historical villa Oromolu – Qreator by IQOS, the guests were welcomed by renowned travel & lifestyle brands, such as Gulfstream, Tudor. Personal Tailor, Simona Semen of Private Luxury Travel and had the chance to spend a quality evening, sprinkled with Luc Belaire’s sparkling wine.
The event also marked the launch of the new edition of the travel & lifestyle magazine Rhapsody – The Luxury Standard. This number celebrates innovation in luxury and brings forward brands and destinations that put excellence in the core of their business.

The model of the latest G650 aircraft and the exclusive images from the inside of the aircraft introduced the guests into the atmosphere of a luxury trip. Gulfstream’s use of green energy for daily flight operations is a significant step toward a more sustainable future.
With every takeoff of a Field and Airborne Support Teams jet, or a demonstrator or test aircraft from Gulfstream’s Savannah, Georgia, world headquarters, the company’s prominence as the leader in business aviation will soon become more pronounced—this time, in the use of renewable fuel.
Gulfstream recently became the first business aviation manufacturer to move toward using a drop-in renewable fuel in its daily flight operations. Gulfstream is awaiting delivery of the fuel, which is blended with conventional petroleum-based Jet-A and will power the two FASTaircraft—dedicated Gulfstream G150s that deliver parts and maintenance technicians to support operators. The blended fuel will also be used for corporate flights and flight-test aircraft.
Gulfstream plans to offer the renewable fuel to customers flying into and out of the Gulfstream Savannah Service Center when additional quantities are available.

In December 2015 Gulfstream hosted a premium event in Aurel Vlaicu Airport, where they presented the Gulfstream 280. In the presence of Dr. János Hárskuti – Head of Central and Southeast Europe and Mr. George Liteanu – Sales Director for Romania & Serbia, the aircraft was long examined and admired by the Romanian partners and clients.
